Lampstand[1]
A lampstand is a pillar, tripod, or stand for supporting or holding a lamp.
Lampstand was the codename used to identify the Isle of Sheppey during the air raid that forms the climax of Piece of Cake. When they were eventually scrambled, Hornet Squadron were sent here by Trombone, and initially told to patrol at an altitude of 10,000ft. [2]
