The term hilltop is used to describe the distinct summit of a landform that extends above the surrounding terrain.
Hilltop was the codename used to identify Hornet Squadron from mid May 1940, replacing Jester, which they had used since before war was declared.[2] Following the squadron's reformation after the withdrawal from France, the codename was changed to Mango.[3]
